I always love a story involving tenors being eaten by giant worms (sniff)…

For all you kids who dissected earthworms in school - watch out for this guy!

Think of what Petey could do if he could think out side of the box.

Petey has more imagination than we knew–Alice definitely comes by it from family!

Great imagination. Reminds me of the time I was three and rode a deer. For some reason no one believed me……

How did it get across the ocean without being swallowed by Godzilla or something?

Your worm is your only emperor for diet: we fat all creatures else to fat us, and we fat ourselves for maggots. Your fat Pavarotti and your lean Sid Vicious is but variable service - two dishes, but to one table. That’s the end.

I agree with Grog — heaven help us if Petey thinks outside the box if this is what he comes up with “inside the box”!

shytimes2, I never even buy Easter candy until the Monday after, when it gets put in the half-price bins.

This buzz is off the Valentine’s candy I bought on February 15.

Out—out are the lights—out all! And over each quivering form The curtain, a funeral pall, Comes down with the rush of a storm, While the angels, all pallid and wan, Uprising, unveiling, affirm That the play is the tragedy, “Man,” And its hero, the Conqueror Worm.

Whom does the worm conquer? Why, Godzilla, of course…

They got some weird animals down in Australia, and the ones you haven’t heard of are just as bizarre as the ones you have.

The deadliest spider, the deadliest jellyfish… Of the 10 deadliest snakes in the world, something like 7 of them are native to Australia, including (I think) the top 3.

OK to buy discount candy (if that’s what pleases) but ai have grandkids visiting and have picked some (slightly less unhealthy snacks) to get them to have better choices- even within the stuff they may pick. I won’t get specific here, but they’ve already made a few good choices. And they only arrived today for THIS visit. Christmas week was out of my control, so I shopped today for stuff that was within their desires, but fit a “somewhat healthy” choice.

Very cool! Earthworms (Megascolides australis or Giant Gippsland Eartworm), found in Victoria, take over New South Wales and eat “the tissue box”! Can they eat the “coat hanger” too?
