While I rather hate to admit it, Holly does have a valid point: Gramma did have the thing on. Whether she INTENDED to receive calls is another topic, but it was on.

With a tablet, there is such a thing as “standby”, which is what everyone will use. They don’t need to be “on” to wake you up.

Holly is fortunate to have a grandma like Evie. No such thing as tablet to Skype. Modern technology at its finest. My own mom would know nothing of that electronic and her grandkids only two are adults.
