Hey Dan. While I am a fan of the dogs but not quite as fond of the tipsy cat, I thought you might really enjoy this article about “whiskey distillery cats” (if you haven’t seen it yet): http://www.npr.org/blogs/parallels/2014/09/09/347093135/behind-every-good-whisky-is-a-trusty-distillery-cat
I actually subscribe to DogTV for my dog. I work a lot of hours, and it actually keeps her brain active when I can’t take many breaks to play with her. She acts out less, this way. Once, I even found one of her toys sitting on the TV stand right in front of the TV, like she was offering it to the lady asking her if she, “want[s] to play, Dog-dog? Good girl, Dog-dog!” When that didn’t work, she started whining each time the woman comes on. It’s adorable and hilarious.
