Ed: ,Back to the beginning…Raymond was the companion of a female Green Ship Pirate. She eventually came over to “our” ship and brought Raymond with her. We never found out just “what” he is (dog? Human? hybrid?) She was phased out of the strip about 2003 or so, but Raymond stayed on.

Oh yeah, I remember the GF now.Raymond reminds me of Eddie Haskell on Leave it to Beaver; kind of an operator. Yeah, I’m that old.’Never noticed the green nose. ’Like the earring, tho.So, they steal “our” safe, but when one becomes loopy Louie feels akin. I guess it all makes sense. :-)
