Alice is so cute. Alice and Ruthie remind me of my daughter when she was in grade school. When she was in kindergarten her teacher told her she couldn’t sing in the restroom because the whole school could hear her. Restrooms with tiled walls and floors have a lot of echo.

SOME of those childish lyrics get pretty brutal, Yukoneric. I sang that one before an auditorium full of parents when I was about Alice’s age, and 30 years later my Mom’s friends were still laughing over it. :-)

What did Alice’s mom expect, anyway? Kids at that age always have goofy songs, often only 3 or 4 words long over and over and over…. one of my nephew’s sang “the barn, the barn, the barn, the barn, the, barn….” for about 15 miles on a trip home from the mountains once. We thought we’d all die laughing!
