Ooh! Another golf cartoon. This one didn’t convince me either. As Ted Lind said, it’s not inaction by Obama that is preventing employment from rising. It’s inaction by the House of Representatives, who are rigidly opposed to anything that will help the economy. Not a single “jobs bill” passed by John Boehner has been judged by the CBO to make any difference in the job market. Immigration reform would create hundreds of thousands. Extending unemployment benefits would create over 100,000. A boost in highway funding would create over 100,000. Obama’s jobs bill would create several hundred thousand. All dead in a Republican-controlled congress.

Come on people how many lame duck presidents do you have to have before realizing that the 2nd term is for the ‘me’ attitude; the first term was for the ‘we’ attitude.

Sorry Ramirez, the President is not golfing today. He is right here in Milwaukee connecting with his constituents. And hopefully giving Scott Walker and Paul Ryan a good kick in the butt.

“PART time work is at an all time high, welfare rolls and other wards of the State have tripled and the labor participation rate is still at Carter levels.”Seeing as how all those “job creators” continued to move jobs overseas despite all the tax cuts they were given, that’s not a surprise. What also isn’t a surprise is how many conservatives still think cutting taxes on the rich will help create jobs in a demand-side economy.

What was Obama’s golf score today? Didn’t know we elected a President of golf…. It’s the only thing he takes seriously. That and fund-raising, of course. Gotta have the money to elect the next wave of Communists to office…

Crosspatch said, about 5 hours agoHere’s a great history lesson, food stamps the bane of the conservative conscience was conceived by the need to protect …..Blah, Blah, Blah Our country never intended for 45% of Americans to be on Food Stamps. Or for 30% to be “disabled”.But when you have a prez that preaches laziness and government dependency, that’s what u get.Great toon
