Reminds me of a very old Sunday strip that started out with a kid getting yelled at by Mom: “No! No! No!” A few of the panels were even just full of No! In the last panel, though, the kid gets this malevolent, fourth-wall breaking grin on his face — as Mom is still yelling No! — and thinks, “That’s 70. Only 14 more and she’ll give in!”
