I hate to complain that I’m not getting my money’s worth on GoComics (how can anyone be that penny-oriented!) but it’s true - the uniquely rich and dark colors of this strip, and the variation in the weight of the inking, made it gorgeous to look at as well as more realistic to read. Today’s makes them look like computer animation on a rainy gray day (despite the “blue” sky).
My theory is that it’s just increasingly prohibitive to generate Web comics without the aid of a computer that makes standard widths of line only, and fills in stock colors (albeit with some ability to add shading). At least one other strip I like has gone from color to b&w lately.
If Cory T checks in here, I’m telling him I regret it - but I gotta sympathize too.

Parents buying a college student dinner and some new clothes is great, but a chest rub? Just crossed the creepy line.

I don’t like the way the drawing on this strip has changed. The colors are always dull and the outlines are too heavy.
