I had an acquaintance explain to me why he preferred cats over dogs, you don’t have to walk them, don’t have to play fetch, and if you want to b left alone, just lock them in the bathroom.
In other words, cats are so popular in America because Americans are lazy. (Not referring to fellow readers, I’m sure you’re out walking your cats right now.)
It seems that cats seek me out, which isn’t usually a problem. But Craig Ferguson has said many times on his talk show that if you die alone in your home, your cat will eat you. I don’t think Craig likes cats much.
