The word actually is “garnisheed”. Garnished means to add something.
When I hear the word garnished used with salary I always picture a check with a sprig of parsley or an orange slice sitting on it.
I like a little garnish on my celery…
In most places, that sort of court order should be confidential. Payroll wouldn’t be notifying his supervisor.
