Was Sophie trying to fast forward to dinner time?

Nice to have things back to normal here.

So that’s what dogs are doing when they act that way! I think they have a litle fur-ther to go before they get the time travel dance down pat.

I travel through time. Each year goes by faster than the last. Now one week speeds by faster than one day did as a child.

I’m with you, Dr. Toon. “Regrets, I’ve had a few, but then again, too few to mention.”

It takes every place you’ve ever been to get you where you are.

cleokaya, once in the Journal of Irreproducible Results (a “scholarly” journal which publishes fake papers by real scientists) somebody who noted that the time between Christmases was far longer when you’re a child than when you’re an adult crunched the numbers and determined that the age at which a year actually feels like a year is something like 27.4.

(If that’s the number he actually came up with, it’s purely coincidence; I don’t have my “Best of…” volume handy to check.)

Some of the comments here remind me of a book I once read called “Thrice Upon a Time” by James P Hogan. Especially the ones about losing what you have now.

This is a great comic. I saw it in my morning paper, and it was hard to make out what was happening until I saw it here in color.

“Does she know that she’s going to have to Spring Forward one hour at 2:00 AM on Sunday Morning?”

As opposed to 2:00 AM on Sunday Evening?

One has to become one with the Time Continuum concept while taking into factor the CHAOS theory that is proportionate with the rotation of oneself while standing still next to a kid holding a manual clock.
