I let Moose in last night to see the kittens. First they all did the sideways, backs arched hopping bit. Then the boys got bored. And Moose did something he has never done with kittens before. He laid down by the wall and just stayed there and watched the little female. Maybe he knew she had been really, sick and was just letting her “be”. After about 10 minutes, he got up, sat by the door and looked me. That’s his sign that he’s done and wants out.
My only grandchild is of the feline species – just the way I like it. Daughter and her husband found both grandkitties in the alley behind their apartment about 10 yrs ago.
It doesn’t look like Oliver here either, the kitty on the right is tan/brown like Route Nine and even This side up. Oliver is gray. But colors can vary depending on the monitor. They’re all brats today, that little gal is their only source of food. Well unless something really small runs by I guess.
