I dunno. Things would be a lot quieter if the southern states did secede. But none of them are about to give up all the money they drain from the rest of the country.
“The only big worry with this proposal is that some of the fools in Congress would then Jump at the chance to send lots of Foreign Aid to Texas…”That would be a double edge sword as it would show their “pro-business” ideas couldn’t maintain a sovereign state.
