Joel’s comment reminds me of something from my youth:Always loved a line from from one of Bill Cosby’s first comedy albums talking about how much he liked PFSneakers as a kid….“You could stop on a dime & get 9 cents change!”
Those P.F. Flyers had a TV ad where a steeplejack was dangling by a rope around one ankle, and the kid saves the day because his P.F’s let him run so quickly for help.
