Ahhhhhhhhh, August!!! ;)

My parents married in August. Great time of the year. :)

Also, Max is so adorable with that racket!

Alix has her pool back to herself.

My parents loved August for the back to school sales; it was the only way they could stock up on office supply basics.

This August, my youngest granddaughter got a schnoodle puppy for her eighth birthday. Two weeks later her brother’s socked foot was being bitten by the dog, he tripped over the dog, and stepped on his foot, breaking it in three places. Now the pup has to wear a cast for 6-8 weeks and have it changed weekly. There’s always something happening around there.

August in Memphis is hot, humid and sticky. Ugh.

Now, an August pregnancy with expected delivery in early September…THAT’S something to be endured, my mother used to tell about my sister’s entry into this world.Oh, NO…. Another Virgo to torture me !! Turned out she wazn’t so bad, after all. The sister, not the mother..THAT’sa whole other story.

No matter how much “intimacy” you’re enjoying, there are always times for other things during the day.

I’d be enjoying my pool if I were not anxious to move. I’m a September Libra (as is my youngest boy, 5 days before mine). I’ll be 77 this year and my BF will be 71 in November.

We’re nearly twins! (25th)

There are a lot of things to like in August: my sister’s wedding day; her birthday; our IS Katie’s birthday (she’ll be six the 19th); Jan’s It’s August! cartoons… ;)

Mid-August—it’s been a lovely summer. Don’t want it to end. The toon is sheer pleasure.

Oh, great. So now we get another 15 days of “You Gotta Love August” storyless strips…
