Actually, Reagan created an independent bipartisan commission to fix Medicare in 1987/88 when it neared insolvency, headed by Jim Baker. Its proposals were adopted. So the GOP’s opposition to a similar commission now would not be welcomed by RR at all. Reagan’s record proves that he was not as much of an idealogue obstructionist as the GOP leadership is today
One of the nice things about being a Republican is that you can present history anyway you want, without bothering with facts or the truth.
As a side note, they are thinking of renaming a mountain in Californa after Reagen because a religious group is upset that the current name, El Diablo, means The Devil. We live in a great country.
Hey Ken I think you are referring to the Legacy Projects. Google Reagan Legacy Project and you will find articles about it. The War Bush Legacy Project has just started. Step one starts with that library dedicated to that loser.

Oh really did you ever hear Reagan speak on health care?I did, and I’ll tell you he sure as hell would have refused to support this abomination that their trying to pass.
Might be more appropriate to rename Mt Diablo “Mt Cheney”? They’ve named more than enough things after the “ray-gun”. BTW, what IS going on with naming stuff after Republicans, like ships, etc, before they’re dead? Well physically and mentally ARE different things I guess.

I heard that Reagan was born outside the US and not even a real American. I mean has anybody ever seen his birth certificate?
