“Fanta” was made by the germans in WWII since they couldn’t get the ingredients for Coca Cola during the war. After the war, when Coca Cola reclaimed the factory, they also received the recipe for “Fanta” and continued making it.

I remember buying Pepsi during WWII.Their jingle was“Pepsi Cola hits later hits the spot12 Ounce bottle that’s a lotTwice as much for a nickel tooPepsi Cola is the drink fro you.”(Coke only came in 6 ounce bottles at the time, and yes they were only 5 cents)
