What get’s me about TV “weather folks”, as in teleprompter readers, not climatologists, is that after four years of drought the whine about a single day of light rain, or snow, then gleefully scream “But we’ll then get more sunshine for three more years!”
When it snows, the freak. When it rains, they freak. When we get that additional “sunshine” we’re getting too much of, they don’t have a clue about the consequences.
The worst thing the “Old Farmer’s Almanac” could possibly predict was drought!!!
But hey, umbrellas are too complex a technology for those on their I-pods 24/7.

Isn’t this an old one, or am I thinking of something that was on “Family Guy?”
