What am I missing? Don’t they Skype with Grandma anyway? Why is this any better? In fact, I’d much rather sit in front of a screen than have to sit there and hold one. But as I said, maybe I am missing something.

Yes, skype on mom’s computer which is likely to be password protected. Arnold wants Alix to be able to talk to Evie at any time without waiting for her mom to log on.

I’m reading this on a $30 tablet bought online. Not such a major investment for a serious (compared to Holly) eight-year-old.
