I’ve never had that happen to me; however, I am guessing that it must feel really strange… ;)

She feels like she’s being “unfaithful” to her friend.

If you’re really interested, this (last updated 13 June 2014) has a list of the oldest homo sapien remains found so far. It lists a 90,000 year old skull found in Israel (in 1932); but, it also lists a 160,000 year old skull found in Ethiopia (Africa, in 1997). It also lists a 195,000 year old skull, found elsewhere in Ethiopia (in 1967); but, says the age is disputed. This talks about tools (linked to early homo sapiens), found in the 1970s in Ethiopia, which date back 276,000 years. But, this describes remains found in Israel (reported in 2010), that date back 400,000 years. While it says homo sapiens, if you look at the abstract of the journal article it cites, it says hominin specimens were found, not specifically homo sapien specimens, which is probably why the first link doesn’t list it. While there are old remains in the region @Nabuquduriuzhur mentioned, I personally doubt they’re the oldest. But then, my background is in Math and Chem.
