I could never quite get it to roll anywhere when I was their age. But I did “drive” by moving the shift lever on the column all over. Always thought that I got things back like Dad left them, but now I’m not so sure that was true. Still, never got in trouble for it so I guess nothing got damaged.
When I was a child a long time ago, I remember playing car and driving like Dad. Today, I could care less about driving. It’s a child’s dream to drive all over, a sense of getting older to handle the responsibilities that come along with it. It’s nice to read this comic and think about good childhood memories! Kudos to “One Big Happy” A wonderful comic strip!
