I didn’t have any grammies or grampies either. They had all died long before I came along.
I understand James, my grammies and grampies are gone along with my mommy and daddy. I have my aunt and uncle who raised me, siblings and lots of cousins.
My grandparent’s been gone for long time unlike Ruthie’s grandparent’s never think of asking them for money when I was a kid.
