My brother once went through an airport metal detector. He emptied his pockets and it still went off. As he undid his belt he said “If I take any more off, I’m going to charge admission.” True story.
After several tries like the above scene, they finally figgered that it had to be either my glasses frames or the $6,000 worth of gold in my mouth that supported several dentists over the years !! (it wun’t the glasses, btw)
This brings to mind a Wolverine comic I read once -and an image of Logan setting of alarms as he walks through the airport detector in his skivvies..My husband is full of scrapnel. I have titanium plates on my spine and in my foot. We never make it through the airport metal detector..
