Eventually you gotta put your foot down and say no more school. I did that after graduating university.

Sadly, the real joke is the “teachers are makin’ the big bucks” part.

Have any of you bashing about teachers pay ever tried living and paying expense on a teachers pay? A lot of them can’t even afford to qualify for a home. Now I understand there are some making decent wages and of course the Admin. people do ok. My husband was a teacher for 32 yrs so I know what I am talking about.

For schools here due to budget cuts schools are having to do more trimming so no teacher’s here do not make big bucks. Some classes have been removed. Ending school early.

All schools, public and private, suffer from “admin creep”. In prosperous times, the admins hire more teachers and caretakers – and admins. In lean times, they let teachers and caretakers go. Administration as percentage of budget grows monotonically with the age of the school.

Sweet Joe, he is still such an innocent. Don’t grow up til you have to Joe!
