Greek salad, baklava, souvlaki, gyros, those little spinach and cheese thingies in phyllo (spanosomething), stuffed grape leaves, that shrimp dish they do in tomato sauce topped with feta, moussaka, the dessert that looks like shredded wheat, saganaki cheese, need I go on?

Cheerios, peanut butter crackers, Dr. Pepper and cheetos. But why you’d want to know my favorite geek foods is curious.

I used to eat in Greek town occasionally back in Chicago, but lately the only Greek I eat is Greek yogurt and olives (especially Kalamata). I HAVE read all the famous Greek and Roman legends (mostly before 4th grade) however, and just in English. The only non-liturgical Latin I read was the Caesars and no Greek (even tho’ my grandfather taught both at college level).

At our favorite Greek restaurant I always have the gyro platter and a Greek salad.

Now I miss Kojax in Montreal. I loved their Gyros and Kojax burgers with hot sauce. They were awesome.
