Somehow, that saying “if a tree falls and no one’s around, does it make noise?” doesn’t apply here.
He was a branch manager.
He’s a character in a comic strip. Natural causes include anvils, pianos and safes.
Now the police will hunt the tree down and kill it so it won’t harm another human being.
