Amazing how there’s a little cloud of anger above the dog’s head.

comixavier - no not the dog or the doctor. Fairportfan is referring to Phil, her cop boyfriend. In other words while her kids are gone, to have a romantic evening with her boyfriend.

Heck, you can see his picture in the tag line of Stone Soup. He’s the one at the end on the right.

At least SHE isn’t splitting into multiple personalities like Susan in “Between Friends” in current thread. On the other hand, it would be interesting to see how Jan would do that. I often see similarities beween the strips;-)

It is funny that the last days at least one wrote “call Phill” Why? She can stay by herself and has a nice time. She fells guilty because she is busy all the time. She has to take a breath, sitting in the couch and do nothing but stay over there!!

Since Val world is her daughters she doesn’t know what to do without them. Mine involved with my kids but when they went somewhere to play it didn’t bother me. I was able to do as I needed in peace. There adults now.

I know how she feels. This is beginning to drag a little for me too. I hope it’s a set-up.

Well, but if Phil were part of her emotional family, she would just naturally want to call him, no?

And see him somewhat more often?
