Isn't this great, Peter? Doesn't it give you a sense of accomplishment? Oh, shure. Earlier today, I was frittering away my time reading Mody Dick by Herman Melville! But now I'm shpending the afternoon making a wall of dead branchesh and calling it a fort! Yesh, what a shtaggering accomplishment! Peter, your attitude kind of blows.

The choice is this either the body muscles get flabby while the mind gets a work out or the mind gets flabby while the body muscles get the work out. These kids have not yet learned the art of balance.

Yup. Peter’s attitude sucks. One of my boys reads all the time too, but he camps, helped me build a picnic table and fire pit…. he loves working outside.
