Always fixing something, between the car and the house. Right now, just coffee.

Hmmm lest see… There was that horse race back in….oh wait you were talking about making something work right? Well thats a horse of a different color. :-) I fix minor things around the house. I fixed the vacuume yesterday. I fixed it good. I leave all the bigger items to my resident Mr. Fix it. I will say with pride, the hubby can fix anything.

JPuzzleWiz It was a wheel kick gone wrong. I was trying to finish my 1st degree red belt test and instead of breaking the board, I broke myself. (Torn hamstring) The worst was that my little man was there and I scared him. He’s never seen mamma go down in a heap of (4 letter worded) pain before.

Now-a-days I just maintain things (even myself ;-)But I do fix many foods from scratch and in sewing you could say that I FIX some old clothes, because I have to adjust for a large weight loss.

One factor I was expecting in my man is always that HE should be good at fixing things (at least better than I).

My X was not handy; he used to take me to the homes of other family so I could light their furnaces and other such things.
