Well only eight years and after 58,000+ of our troops died did a released POW actually state without question there was NO ATTACK from North Vietnam on the ships. (He was a Crusader pilot.)
Deliberate or “accident” it’s a deplorable incident, with all sides now rattling sabers and acting deplorably. The coverage of all the news channels fixated on the bodies, is deplorable and pandering to an audience as depraved as the Marque de Sade. International “morality” is indeed one very, twisted sister.

When the Vincennes shot down the Iranian plane, we admitted it and paid the families compensation.
Russia has shot down other civilian airliners, denied it, and then when their guilt was proved, continued to deny responsibility or liability.
Countries— and people— mess up. It’s how they react when they do that counts. Russia is simply being Russia— and that’s not good.
