Well said. It’s telling that the left studiously ignores the distinction of legal and illegal immigration and shamelessly makes racial accusations that shut down the debate. It’s as though they know that they cannot make their case purely on the merits.
The law not only must be the final dictate, but in the case of our immigration laws, they desperately need some sensible reform.
The opposition to immigrants isn’t just about “illegals”, there is literally tons of commentaries and documentation that both “racism” and “statism” has LONG been a complaint, from those who’ve “Got mine, STAY OUT!” attitude. Notable is a friend of mine repeatedly stopped and questioned about his “legal status”, who just happens to trace his ancestry to this “American state”, back over 600 YEARS!! But gee, he LOOKS “Mexican”!

Completely ignored here is the fact that Mexico allows these poor children to stream across their “strictly enforced” borders, and let criminals extort and brutalize them on their long, horrible trek across the entire length of their country. All this means to mindless boobs like Stevie is a partisan “cause” that he can use. He, like his idol in the White House only cares about his party, and couldn’t care less for the actual plight of these children.
I would also like to add that the KKK is a creation of the Democratic Party, particularly the version that arose in the early 20th century. I’d also like to add to this that Adolf Hitler gave an audience to Jesse Owens to congratulate him on his gold medals, and FDR wouldn’t, because he was afraid of angering his racist base. The Democrats’ overall presence in American history is embarrassing, but for the fact that too many people know absolutely NOTHING about it.
