I once read a story about a guy that actually sent his Dr. a bill for the time he had to spend in the waiting room AFTER his appointment time. He told the Dr. that his time was just as valuable as the Dr’s time and therefore the Dr. owed him for his wasted time.
Reminds me of the time I sat on that cold stainless steel table waiting for the doctor. Sat there 45 minutes – no doc. Finally got so aggravated went out to reception to see what was going on. They had all left and the lights were off, and then they had the nerve to send me a bill for the appointment. Guess who got an earful?
