Some coyotes look more wolf-like than others. Out West, coyotes are smaller and scruffier, in the Mid-west, they more resemble a lean German shepherd.That being said…wolf-lite…funny! :-)
I actually wanted to write and express my appreciation and affection for this strip. This is really why I’m on GoComics. When our local paper opted to carry some stupid stuff (subsequently dropped) instead of TOC I went in search of it on line. I love the advocacy for animals of all sorts and the humorous life of dogs-with-humans. Thank you, Adrian, and keep up for the good work!
My parents would plant watermelons in their garden despite eating them in extreme moderation. They liked to watch the coyotes trying to break into them. (They would jump stiff-leggedly onto them to break through.)
