I don’t mind paying my “fair share”. However, I’ll NEVER understand why- – -after paying taxes ALL my life. The govt wants to tax what I have left to give to my heirs! I already PAID taxes, it should go to my heirs and beneficiaries unencumbered. The “Death tax” is immoral and a greedy, criminal attempt by the govt to take MORE than their “fair share”. Come to think of it, I’m sick of hearing about fair shares from people who have NOT worked for their own welfare. I’m an “ant”. . .they are “grasshoppers” and thieves.

Even that liberal icon JFK knew that if you lowered the tax rates — all of them — then businesses made more money, which led to more tax revenue, and people made more money, which led to more tax revenue. Raise the tax rates too high, and both people and businesses look for ways to hide their money from the tax man.
