Actually, Sammi, it wasn’t the Grand Canyon; DoI wouldn’t let him do it. It was the Snake River Canyon. And he didn’t make it across; his jet-powered vehicle deployed its parachute as it was coming off the ramp, dropping him into the gorge. But you’re right, he did end up (again) as a bag of bones.
