I don’t read as much as I did before I had cable TV, but the last few years I’ve bought more history books (first from the medieval times to validate my back story and now I’ve started on the founding of our country. My new BF also reads a lot of mystery novels so I’ve started borrowing many of those to read.
I don’t have a room just as library, but my living room is my gallery and has all my art books and some on birds in one étagère, there are books on gardening and edible flowers in the kitchen alcove and a large bookcase with my current reading (and books to share) in the family room. I also have some old reference books in closets and desks, and cookbooks in the kitchen cabinets.
