I don’t think a gang of overpaid, steroid-doped, ball players is necessarily indicative of recovery from the disaster that was Katrina. Does a superbowl ring on their fingers build houses for the people still homeless in the 9th Ward?

Yeah, even though it was a nice victory for the fans of the Saints, not sure how one day’s escapist joy overcomes the harsh realities of disasters. Pretty sure Mardi Gras has been going on the last few years, you could just as easily call that a victory over a 5-year-old occurance.

<======Great game! Too bad it won’t bring any of those people that I failed to save back.

At least someone had a rebuilding plan. Re: 9th Ward; the poor could afford to live there because property values were low because it’s a death trap. Move to higher ground.
