Man: Remember when energy only came in drinks? Back before it became a condiment?
I’m just barely old enough to remember when labels touted the amount of “energy” in food. Later on they were forced to change it to read “calories”.
^I remember when the list of ingredients for strawberry jam was, strawberry jam.
Ooh! Ooh! Where can I get some?!
Remember when people weren’t stupid?..Yeah. Me, neither.
I’d love to put some ESP on my food. I doubt i would work though.

As long as they use a capital “C” it’s a kilocalorie., or as they say now a diet calorie.
