FEMINISM! Haha.

The fact is not all girls like bows and the like. They all like to know they are beautiful, but some understand better than others that outward beauty is most beautiful when there is inner beauty to match it :)

I know someone who threw a hair clasp across the parking lot after a beauty-shop operator had put it in after untangling this person’s hair. Thirty-plus years later, she still has more of an Alix-type attitude about style.

Too late Alix got through to Luci. Come on Luci look pretty.

I agree with Alix on this one.

And then there are some of us who appreciate silk and lace and heels sometimes and denim, camo and leather work boots other times and if we can get away with it will wear a combination.

Reminds me of a Cathy comic when one her friends had a baby. People kept asking her if it was a girl or a boy. She replied to one that she wasn’t telling anyone because “this is the only time it’ll be free from gender bias!”

SMART, Luci! ;)

I have a wonderful picture of each of my little girls wearing a pretty dress and wielding a sword. These were not posed photos. The girls had just been playing dress-up and started sword fighting. Be who you want to be, and dress the way you like also (within moderate limits).

Most babies are adorable just they way they are. Luci is cute.
