Maybe they could have a monthly contest in which readers could write new dialogue for the strips that have been repeated ad nauseum; the winning entry, as well as the runners-up, might be fun to read.
I tried reading Li’l Abner for a while but it kept repeating repeats of the same repeats, and then every so often it would jump around a decade or so, until I finally gave up, not worth the effort.
This particular strip today has been around the block in the past few months. I know this comic ran a lot longer & yet this site only runs a few weeks worth & repeats the same ones over again
