Thought this took place in Cleveland. Sounds like South Carolina I-85 between Spartanburg and the North Carolina line.

Make sure you don’t seek justice when you’re working against a guy in a pickup truck with a rifle in his rear window rack.

@jbmlaw. It does take place in Cleveland and yes, road rage is universal.

No, this kind of thing is all about injured pride, and pride is usually the source of most things that go wrong in society and in our personal relationships. The best approach is to forgive and forget. Besides, it’s always better to have an idiot driver in front of you than tailgating you.

imbaldeagle: When I was getting my Masters in the early ’90s, I drove through small towns, rural, suburbs, and a county seat college town. I would note pickups with gun racks, the time, place, and what was on the rack. Guns were in fifth place with lassos, jackets, and caps in the first three places with fishing rods a close sixth to guns. It had become just too easy to break a window and take a gun for the old terrorist display of “I can shoot any N——- and get away with it” to have much threat left. .DLee4144: I agree with your sentiment, but I still think smash-and-grab was more likely than the “loser” tag. They are losers now, not just a loser character, but one who lost his gun; which is why burglary of a motor vehicle is a specific charge – and a serious one in Bubba-and-his-gun-rack land, even if there are no longer guns on the rack.

Considering I haven’t been able to find a job in over a year, I’m much more than a dollar short; but I had to add: What’s the difference between a naked man and a BMW? The naked man has the pr!ck on the outside!!
