Back on 6-24 we had the discussion about whether it’s 3rd or 4th wall that Monty breaks when he talks to the reader. So, what wall does this break? Or did we just get a glimpse through the looking glass?

I agree. Low blow! IMHO Monty is the BEST current comic. Second only in the annals behind Calvin and Hobbes.

OK, I see why he’s incarcerated. He’s insane!

Dr. Blechter is insanely clever! He reads the comics and knows all about Monty (or should that be …Monty?), just as we do. And now he is facing Monty in real life.

Wait a minute. Real life?

Are not we, who discuss a comic strip as if it were real life, precisely as insane as Dr. Blechter? There’s a thought to worry over….

I was just thinking if,and when, they start making laptops with 3D screens if the cartoonist/syndicator would have the ability to present comics in 3D?(without those funny glasses of course)
