There is no “politically correct.” That is phrase used mostly by conservatives to hide behind. It is either correct or it is not. Changing this name is correct because it is offensive. Changing names like Seminoles or Warriors is not needed.
The Vikings should be allowed to wear horns on their helmets to make the game more interesting. The Bears should recruit a grizzly as a linebacker for the same reason. The Colts should be allowed to use .45s to clear the field for their running backs. Football could indeed be made more interesting.
