He certainly does. And, it looks like he’s going to leave the next President a huge mess in the Middle East with a bunch of unstable states plagued by civil war and terrorism instead of a bunch of reasonably stable states run by brutal dictators..But, then again, what can you expect from an amateur with zero knowledge of foreign affairs? I doubt that Obama could find Iraq on a map of the world without big red arrows and the name printed on it.
President Obama should agree with Cheney, given what he said when he withdrew American troops from Iraq:-“It’s harder to end a war than begin one. Indeed, everything that American troops have done in Iraq – all the fighting and all the dying, the bleeding and the building, and the training and the partnering – all of it has led to this moment of success.-“Now, Iraq is not a perfect place. It has many challenges ahead. But we’re leaving behind a sovereign, stable and self-reliant Iraq, with a representative government that was elected by its people.”-Barack Obama, 2011

The Cheneys had an editorial yesterday in the WSJ claiming that everything wrong in Iraq is Obama’s fault. It’s truly astounding.
