I’m all for “world building” but this is getting a bit much. You’re not supposed to rub your audience’s face in the exposition. Howard Taylor over at SchlockMercenary knows how to do exposition: a max of one or two days in a row, then back to the characters.
Oh, so shatners is money…ha, I wonder what the real Shatner would think of that…
Still say the timing for this exposition is poor; would’ve been better at either beginning, or just after the baddies sent that doc guy into orbit with the anti-grav balloon, but I welcome the universe building nonetheless, if only because it helps resolve some questions.
