E.B., if you’re going to be a CSI lab techie, you can’t react to nasal hairs so demonstratively! On the other hand, blech! Will Monty’s forensic inquiry yield results before “the gnome with the wheelbarrow” is beheaded? Or are we doomed to gnome gloom?

It’s the weird writing style that throws me off. “we only had one son but seven lovely daughters”….. or “we have seven lovely daughters and only one son”.

@May Kitten, don’t be discouraged by some negativity here. I also like to share snippets of my life of which I am reminded by various comics and it’s fun to me even if no one cares. But I think the parallel lives of others are very interesting. I myself bore just 3 boys and one girl in that order and about a year apart (before closing that possibility).

And I hope that Monty finds the culprit; I have had landscapers who I observed to be rather clumsy totally deny any responsibility for breaking garden globes and resin statues.
