    Liberals still can’t believe there’s a network that isn’t left-wing.

Funny how all conservatives have is Fox News. While the looney left libs have abc, cbs, nbc, pbs, npr, cnn, msnbc, Soros, Buffet, Zuckerburg, Gates, 98% of Hollywood. Just how does ONE station keep out pacing all of these other sources? Hint: The truth!

Mostly lies above. The “liberal media” is a myth. There is one liberal tv station, one VERY conservative station that likes to fib a lot, and a lot of lame neutral ones. Newspapers are 50-50. Radio is 95% conservative, many hosts bought and paid for by Kochs, et al. Ingraham and Levin took hundreds of thousands to prop up Brat.

Like altering a recording to make someone appear racist? Oh wait that was MSNBC. Did they bury a story about a politician that was also a rapist? Oh wait that was EVERYBODY besides Fox News and NBC (shocker).

The left is very sensitive to being called “un-American,” but they’re pretty careless about throwing the term around themselves.

Considering that MSNBC IS the ONLY truly, and admittedly “liberal” outlet in the electronic world, and even the NYTimes and Washington Post allow conservatives their freedom to express themselves, the right whining wingnuts really have a long way to travel to get to any sense of the “real world”.

“Liberal media” may be the only myth bigger than “Saddam has WMDs and we know EXACTLY where they are”- to quote Cheney, Rumsfeld, Bush, Rice, Feith, Perle, Wolfowitz, and the other chickenhawks.

“Obama’s “numbers” keep slipping, the lame stream keeps glossing over that when the other guy was in charge, front page news!”I’ve already said often enough that I’m not a big fan of Obama. I didn’t vote for him. He needs to worry less about his approval rating and worry more about his missing spine. If he’d spend less time pandering on talk shows and more time standing up for his policies, I might have some respect for him.BTW, seeing as how at one point some 75% of Americans polled believed Saddam Hussein had the slightest thing to do with the 9/11 terrorist attacks, I don’t have enough respect for the general public to give a flying $%^& about opinion polls or approval ratings.

first heard in high school the phrase “Don’t believe everything you read in the papers!” Today, one must include TV, radio, Internet news, GC comments, blogs and other social media! A poster on another ’toon stated it best, that one has to DIG and SEARCH today for actual responsibly-reported news.

Walter Cronkite’s legacy is “The most trusted man in America”, and in his time there were many others of his character. Most news reporters, journalists and anchormen & anchorwomen are not given much leash to report the truth today.

The real tragedy is that investigative costs a lot, takes time, and produces a lot of dry wells; most all news sources today can’t afford it. TV News is now treated like an entertainment cost center by the networks that must be profitable, as opposed to a civic duty incurred by the cheap use of public airwaves the networks get. Most networks and reporters today are too far removed from actually gathering news. It’s more like PRNewsWire
