Hm, Ford sold what, only 1.3 million vehicles this last year, GM more? Where do they PARK, let alone fine pavement between the potholes in our failed infrastructure nobody would pay to maintain?
The “Hummer” in civilian dress was totally idiotic, and became under GM just a Yukon Denali with bad design. The actual military “Hummer” from AM General is also a dog, because in many urban parts of the world where we might face enemies, they’re too wide to get through the streets (and that occurs on Guam!).
^91 Isuzu Trooper, very capable, still going strong, and most of it’s miles are actually off pavement on dirt and gravel roads. (However, my wife hates it as the ride is “rough”.)
