Time to leave, Connie…sometimes making a clean break is the best for all concerned. ;)

I think Connie’s moving because of a job offer but Connie’s the type of woman I don’t want little girls to grow up to be. Lets say that the job offer isn’t on the table…then she would be moving because she doesn’t want to be around her ex-boyfriend nor the man whose she been playing back and forth with for a while. I know she finds a new man in Thunder Bay and he already has two daughters, but I liked the idea of being a single mother. By marrying her new husband in the future, she’s ultimately killing that motion and so did Lynn by making this move.

Could be best for everyone – she’ll be away from Phil and Elly won’t be in the middle – but maybe that’s where Elly wants to be.

So long as it’s the job luring her away, not the jackass making her move!!!

I agree , the only thing appealing to Thunder Bay is Old Fort William, a very interesting place to go. As far as, eating establishment, there are any to speak of.

    Lynn’s Notes:

I chose Thunder Bay as Connie’s new destination because it’s a nice place to live and a long way from southern Ontario, where Elly lived. I had also received an honorary degree from Thunder Bay’s Laurentian University a short while before writing this story, and the city was still strong in my mind. I became a doctor of letters. WOW! After receiving the award, I called my mother to tell her, and she replied, “A doctor of letters? That’s ridiculous! You haven’t written to me for MONTHS!”

Thunder Bay is a very nice place, if you like trees.

No eating establishments? I will cross it off my list of places to visit someday.

@howtheduck – hey, I just copied what Lynn posted on her website. If it’s wrong take it up with her.

Pprey — remember that crack when you need your blood drawn next time. I know all the lab supervisors here will…

I seriously doubt that Lynn actually looked at a map to see how far it was to Thunder Bay. As you say, Milborough is a fictional town. This is a comic strip. Mapquest’s website came more than a decade later.
