Were there ever any donations to start with? THAT is the question…!I patronized a bar once or twice a week back in the early 80’s that had a donation container for some long-forgotten charity also. Never saw anyone donate, the contents appeared to stay the same level and as far as I know it’s still there with what looked like maybe 3 or 4 dollars in change in the bottom and a lot of dead flies and dust.
